Senior management - Executive committee

Jean-Charles Naouri currently exercises both functions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

As Chief Executive Officer, he manages the Company and represents it vis-à-vis third parties within the scope of his corporate purpose. He is granted the most extensive powers to act in all circumstances in the name of the Company, subject to any powers assigned by law to the Board of Directors and to the shareholders’ meeting.

The Executive Committee, acting under the authority of the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the Group’s operational management. It implements the Group’s strategy, as defined by the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer.

Alongside the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Committee is comprised of the senior executives of the Group’s main subsidiaries as well as functional managers.

Guillaume APPÉRÉ

Guillaume Appéré, an engineer from the Corps des Mines, is General Secretary of Casino Group and Secretary of the Executive Committee. Until August 2022, he was Director of Planning and Investments. Guillaume Appéré began his career in 2005 as a change management manager at the aeronautical manufacturer EADS Sogerma Services, before moving on to become a project planning engineer at Alstom Power (2006-2007). Appointed as a mining engineer in 2007, Guillaume became head of the “Risks” department at the Regional Directorate of Environment, Development and Housing of Haute-Normandie. He then joined the Ministry of Economy and Finance as head of the office in charge of coordinating legislative and regulatory fiscal projects, before becoming deputy director of transactional taxation, within the tax legislation Directorate of the General Directorate of Public Finance (2011-2014). Guillaume joined the Group in 2014 as a mission director reporting to the Director of Human Resources. Guillaume Appéré is 39 years old and a graduate of Mines ParisTech.

Esther BITTON

Esther is a lawyer and graduated from ESSEC Business School (2007) and a Master in Public Economic Law at la Sorbonne in Paris (2009). She started her career as a competition law lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (2009-2017). She joined the Group in 2017 as Legal Director for Merchandise and Competition in the Purchasing Department. She then held the position of Legal Director for Merchandise and Competition and Human Resources from 2018 to 2022; she had been appointed Director of Commercial Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships in October 2022. She became Group M&A Director and member of the Executive Committee in April 2023.

Magali DAUBINET-SALEN

Magali Daubinet-Salen joined Casino Group in 2007 as head of Management Control for the Easydis subsidiary.
From April 2011, she was Chief Financial Officer for various entities of Distribution Casino France (DCF: Easydis, Casino Supermarchés, Hypermarkets, etc.), before becoming Chief Operating Officer of DCF in charge of Finance from September 2020, then Chief Operating Officer in charge of Finance, Procurement and Logistics from January 2021.
A graduate of ESC Clermont Business School, she has been a member of the Casino Group Executive Committee since June 2022.

Hervé DAUDIN

Hervé Daudin started his career in 1995 within the Treasury Directorate as Deputy Chief of Office, and then, Chief of Office before becoming Technical Advisor to the Minister’s office within the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry in 1999. He joined Euris in 2002 as Deputy Director and then, as from 2003, he continued his career within the Casino Group, where he occupied various positions such as Director of Strategy and Planning, Director of Flows, then Director of Retail Activities and Flows and President of EMCD (newly AMC) from 2009 to 2015. He is now Executive Director, Merchandise and Chairman of Achats Marchandises Casino as well as member of the Executive Committee since 2009.

Vincent DOUMERC

Vincent Doumerc began his career as a marketing manager at Elior (1994-2022), before joining Total to operate all of the gas station network’s catering activities (2002-2012). He then held the position of Franchise Director at the restaurant chain specialist Yum! (2012-2014). Vincent joined the Casino Group in 2015 to manage the franchise deployment of the Group brands globally (Africa, Asia, Near and Middle East). He also managed the Group’s structuring partnerships with Amazon, Uber Eats or Deliveroo. Vincent is a graduate of the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) research center and holds an Executive Master’s degree from HEC Paris. He joined the Casino Group Executive Committee on October 1st.

Marie EVEN

Marie Even joined Cdiscount in 2009 as Head of Legal Affairs and became a member of the Executive Committee. In 2017, she became General Secretary of Cdiscount and supervised the HR, CSR, Legal, Communication departments as well as Public Affairs and RGPD issues. Since August 2020, Marie Even has been Deputy General Manager in charge of the General Secretariat and is a member of the Cdiscount Executive Committee. Marie Even started her career as legal manager of the French subsidiary WorldXchange (1999) before joining Deloitte as a lawyer (2000-2006), and then as legal director of 2H Technologies Group (2007-2009). She graduated from the University of Montesquieu in Bordeaux and holds a PhD in Law. She has been a member of the Casino Group Executive Committee since June 2022.

Raphaële HAUZY

Graduated from ESCP (1998), Raphaële Hauzy began her career with the PPR Group (1998-2022) and Fnac (2003-2018) in various HR and management positions. She joined the Casino Group in 2018 as HR Director of the subsidiary Immobilière Groupe Casino (IGC). She continued her career within the Group as HR Director in various entities (Casino Services, relevanC, Campus Casino, Casino Immobilier). Since 2021, she has been Human Resources Director of Casino Services, Director of C Ma Carrière (mobility division) and President of Campus (training division). She has been a member of the Executive Committee since June 2022.

Julien LAGUBEAU

Julien Lagubeau started his career in the public service at the Ministry of Budget, as Deputy to the Chief of Office (2003-2007) and then as Technical Advisor (2007-2009). In 2009, he joined the Serendipity Funds as Investment Director before joining the Prime Minister cabinet as Budget Advisor in 2011. In 2012, he joined the Casino Group as Head of Strategy and Planning and Executive Committee Secretary. Then, he was appointed Head of Strategy and Operations in 2014. Since 2015, he has been acting as Chief Operating Officer.

David LUBEK

David Lubek is an inspecteur des finances (finance inspector), previously working for the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. After graduating from Polytechnic School, he joined the Finance Ministry in 2000 as Head of Budget and he also occupied various other positions. In 2010, he joined Groupama as Director of General Audits. In 2013, he joined the Casino Group as Director of Management control for the Group, then Chief Financial Officer.

Thomas METIVIER

Thomas Métivier graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, was appointed chargé de mission to the Prefect of the Aquitaine Region from 2012 to 2015. During this period, he held various positions of responsibility at the Regional Directorate for Business, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment (DIRECCTE) of Aquitaine and was Commissioner for the productive recovery in the Aquitaine Region between 2014 and 2016. Thomas Métivier joined Cdiscount in 2016 in the strategy department, a department of which he was appointed Director a year later. In 2018, he was appointed Director of Marketplace, International, Strategy and Innovation and joined the company’s Executive Committee. In February 2021, he became Managing Director of Octopia, the new Cdiscount subsidiary dedicated to the marketing of a Marketplace solution. In January 2023, Thomas Metivier was appointed CEO of Cdiscount and Cnova. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since September 2023.

Matthieu RICHÉ

After graduating in political science from the University of Paris Dauphine, he began his career with the Hauts de Seine General Council. He then worked for 8 years in various consulting agencies (such as TBWA or the web agency Business Lab). In 2005, he joined the cabinet of the Minister of Education, as an advisor for two years, before being appointed economic attaché at the French Embassy in India, in charge of the energy and new technologies departments from 2007 to 2010. Since 2010, Matthieu Riché has been Director of CSR for the Casino Group and also Director of Engagement since 2022. He has been a member of the Executive Committee since January 2023.

Guillaume SENECLAUZE

Guillaume Sénéclauze joined Casino group in 2015, first as General Manager of BIG C in Vietnam before becoming Executive Director of the banner Carulla in Colombia. In 2019, he was appointed Sales and Operations Vice-President by Grupo Éxito in Colombia then Omnichannel Vice-President in July 2020. In January 2022, he was made Omnichannel Director of Casino group before being appointed Chairman of Monoprix and Chairman of Naturalia in May 2022. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Casino group. Guillaume Sénéclauze is a graduate of ESCP Business School. Before joining Casino group, he spent 17 years in operational and commercial management at Carrefour in France and abroad.

Stéphanie ZOLESIO

Stéphanie Zolesio is graduated from HEC (2007). She has held various managerial positions and then director positions within real estate companies, notably Unibail Rodamco (2007-2011) and Hammerson (2011-2014). She joined the Group in 2014 as Director of the “Real Estate Arbitrages” division (2014-2019); she continued her career within the Casino Group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of real estate operations within Immobilière Groupe Casino (IGC) from 2019 to 2022. In May 2022, she has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Casino Immobilier, and has became President of Casino Immobilier in April 2023. She has been a member of the Executive Committee since June 2022.
